New and fresh Arrowleaf Balsamroot as viewed at sunset in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. This small peninsula knoll in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon, was flourishing with wildflowers, was totally out of the wind, somewhat hidden and difficult to get to. Just beyond the wildflowers, it drops straight down hundreds of feet.
