These Z formations were seen over the Alaska Range in Denali National Park, Alaska from high on a mountain near Highway Pass. Presumably, they were made by military aircraft from either Elmendorf Air Force Base, Anchorage, Alaska or Eielson Air Force Base near Fairbanks, Alaska.
