In March, I traveled to photograph the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains (the“Sierras”).  I spent only 5 days in this area, including an evening at the sand dunes of Eureka Hills in Death Valley National Park.  I had planned on spending another 11 days, but was called home for a family matter.  Those days resulted in a few special photographs.
